Hi
When starting the engine in the morning the secondary air pump is very noisy I guess it turn in very high speed. After two to three minutes the noise disappears. I know on cold start the secondary air pump streams air to the catalytic converter to help it reach working temperature but I wonder if the noisy pump is normal ?

They are usually very noticeable when they are running.
