Guide pins

Unread post by V8Sam »

The guide pins I have ate differ from each other, 2 of one type and 2 if another

Anyone know what pin goes where?

I'm assuming one for top one for bottom.and not 2 for left and 2 for right

What are they guiding?

Think you'll need to post your VIN, so we can look at a parts diagram.

These kits are specific to the vehicle. Each caliper has a top and bottom pin - but as for the difference it will likely depend on the caliper type as to what is in the kit and how they are fitted.

Full image.

Bosh type rear brakes.

Not sure if the one on the left is for the top or the one on the right.
