Interior lights C5
Hello everyone, still loving this C5 even after having to spend £800 on a new steering rack due to the knuckle bit leaking power steering fluid. She is in tip top shape now just away to get the little bit of rust seen too once this lockdown is over . Anyway some of my interior lights are not working and was wondering if all of them are T10 501? As i will need x2 for footwell and x7 for everywhere else. Also looking for advice on the best ones to get that are bright as i do a lot of night driving and need to pull over every now and then for some rest. Also what bulbs are in the door that shine down to ground... think they are called puddle lights TIA

All the puddle door lights and the interior footwell lights are T10. I swapped my standard filament W5Ws for some newer LEDs:
See my post with Pics here: May look a bit like a pimp mobile, but I will be getting the colours I wanted at some time and will do the changes again!

You can either stick to the coloured glass replacements or go for some LEDs in different colours including Cool Daylight, Warm Light or other colours.

Thanks mate, It already has LED blue ones in from last owner but they make it dull, was thinking putting LED in the puddle lights and Bright white in the interior and footwells.

There are loads on the market - what you need to watch is the length and width of the LEDs as some will fit better than others - depending on where they are going - Most sellers give you the measurements of the LEDs which helps when deciding if they fit. I've done all mine with the blade types for the interior, door puddle lights, rear interior ceiling and boot lights as well as footwell and under-seating lighting.
Since I got mine there are different ones out that are mimicking the round filament type. So I would suggest you unclip a door light and do a quick measurement to see what the max size you can get in there. At least they are cheap enough to experiment with.

I have always loved the way the lights come on in the door packets to show you that you cannot get anything in them because they are too small for adult human hands
