Hi everyone.
Well. My 2001 C5 has been verymuch troublefree as a daily drive for my mother since she had an arm operation. I have only recently discovered an issue. Apon closing the car with the remote, Usually the mirrors folds in by themselves. Well that stopped. If you close them in by operating the button above the electric window switches they do fold in. But not when you use the remote. Any ideas? Car battery is 3 years old. No faultcodes in the ECU and the auto fold in function is activated in the ECU. I have disconnected the battery overnight to no positive result.
Do you guys have any ideas?
Regards

Re: Mirrors stopped auto fold in.
Set you mirror adjustment switch to the middle position, switch the ignition on (cant remember if it has to be position 1 o 2, try both) then pull & hold the switch back for a few seconds as if you were manually folding the mirrors back. this turns the auto fold function on or off. I think you get some sort of conformation beep, you need to hold the switch back for around 5 seconds.

The mirror adjustment switch just needs to be put in the middle position, then held back for 3 seconds. This will activate or deactivate automatic deployment - repeat the same operations to activate or deactivate the function.

Great! Thanks guys. Didn’t think it is something that simple! Should have just read the manual.
