Citroen c2 1.4 hdi

Hi first post.Timing jumped on my c2 enterprise van.I removed head checked all valves.No bent valves no contact marks on piston or valve heads.Head put back on ,new belt kit fitted.Car starts but there is a horrific induction roar from engine,no power and lots of black smoke.There no sign of any air leaks,timing re checked and double checked.all codes cleared.no engine light on HELP
