Am getting on-screen message (as soon as you hit a specific part group) saying that Technical Info is chargeable. This has happened before over the last couple of weeks, but the message appeared and then disappeared on a second attempt, and parts access ran normally.

Wonder whether it is a bug - not unknown on the site - especially as no announcement has been posted on the site.

"The chatter" on the various FB groups is that it is a PSA decision....let us hope it is as you say...a BIG PITA if not.

It's been the same here on and off since xmas. I've had to use the site via a UK login and a VPN for ages. It's also mentioned on a lot of French sites.
I fear it is the way it now is. Also with the VPN, sometimes it would let me in other times not. I've also set up an account in France using my Siret number, it will let me in but I don't have access to anything once in, unless I pay.

Just been there and you're right it says access to all tech information is now chargeable.

It is not a mistake or a bug, but intentional.

There is now a separate subscription section for parts information, so this would confirm the situation.

According to a French post I read it is not only done for the money but to keep it for professionals as it was getting flooded by the likes of me and their servers were struggling. You need to register with your Siret number in France, proving you are a business in that sector. All the French were setting their VPNs to Belgium and registering from there.
