I-spy a 20 reg

Unread post by NewcastleFalcon »

They are out, and spotted 2 so far today.

A Mini Cooper,, the good thing about them is they are recognisable. The other thing flashed by on the A189 and could have been anything....SUV-ey in style and silver. The ubiquitous anonymous.

Last week I saw four Mercedes Sprinter vans (all 20 reg) on the back of a transporter going to Thrifty Van Rental (going by the logos on them).

I stood by the side of a new 'mini' and thought the name is a lie, nothing 'mini' about it now.

I know very little about either the BMW 1 series or the German Mini but isn't the BMW rear wheel drive and the Mini front wheel drive?

I have to say I have always been a fan of twin exhausts, just because they look good, :-D :) and I have considered directing the cooling air from my battery cooling fan out through twin tailpipes on the MX3 conversion plan. It may even give a miniscule bit of extra thrust to improve range! :)
