BX Octopus pipe replacement

Has anyone found an easy way of doing this yet? Pretty sure the octo pipe needs doing on my BX; It goes from full to light coming on in around 50 miles and a big wet patch on the RHS of the front subframe coupled with melting tarmac syndrome[:(]
I remember it being a full day fiddly job on my old 19RD some years back...

Anders,
I notice on your detailed description that mention is made & reference to Yohsuhke's site from Japan which now seems defunct. Has anyone ever done a copy of the info on that site & if so is it possible to get it posted somewhere?
I was always referring to it & I can't find his e-mail address to ask him where it's gone.[:(]

One of the members here once submitted a link to a site that appearently holds all webcontents for a while when links go dead.
I remembered I clicked on this link and heureka ! - there it was all the stuff !
Anyone remembers the link to this "back-up" site ??

My tip on cutting the two pipes from the rear is here somewhere, saves lots of swearing, look up recent threads.

Crikey! I'd forgotten just how comprehensive this site was. Useful stuff, even in the original Japansese, for anyone with a fuel-injected BX, for example, under "engine". I'm off to the library tomorrow my blank CDR ("borrowed" dialup connection at the moment)!
