While error code reading the 308 for a problem with engine I had the following code returned as well.
B1003 54 Secure configuration fault. This is the COMBINE_UDS ECU and under properties it says:
Cause - Local
Status - Present
Characteristics of the fault - Absence of calibration
It seems to be something to do with the dashboard.
Any ideas?

It means one of the ECUs is locked into secure mode - instrument panel ECU in your case. Probably a CAN comms error.

Am I right in saying this is something only a dealer can unlock? ISTR that this has come up recently on another post about locked ECUs.
It must be something I've done as it didn't show up as an error earlier. Mmmm, I wonder if I updated to Diagbox 7.62 that I could do something?
Is it actually a problem?

That was a post I was also dealing with, in that case the Head Unit ECU. Cannot be resolved by Diagbox (regardless of version) without PSA sever access as the configuration needs downloading directly. If nothing is wrong, leave it.

Thanks Marc. Consider it left alone.
Now, just the engine misfire problem to fix.
