Hi can anyone advice please
I have a 2014 berlingo with only one key
I have managed to get another key from a breakers yard now one I have a new blade cut for this fob
Is it possible to recode the key fob to my vehicle ?

No, you wont be able to program a key that’s previously been coded to a different vehicle.

Best bet would be to get a genuine or aftermarket one from someone like this

If you have the white card with the key numbers on it then they will cut the blade to that number but it still needs the immobiliser side of things programming into the vehicle. You can do it yourself if you have diagbox/lexia, if not you can get it off Ebay for £40 or so and its fairly simple to set up if you know what you are doing with computers.

Even though you are programming in a new key you have to program in the original key or keys otherwise they will stop working and only the new one will work.

You will need a proper full chip Diagbox kit to work with a 2014 Berlingo or it more than likely won't communicate with the BSI as these are all CAN vehicles and non full-chip kits won't cut it.

Not sure what Diagbox kit I've got but I've had it 3 or 4 years at least and it was £50 of Ebay. I've done various things to our old 09 Berlingo like additional keys but it also works on our 2015 Dispatch, I've recently programmed a new key into it. I didn't even have to upgrade the software for it to work, just what is installed from the main program on the disk, version 7.02

That's fine it depends on your clone. If it's a revision B some will work on the earliest DB 7.02 - which it seems you have.
