C5 loading capacity

Just bought a 57 C5 estate & have returned today from a 2 day trip to Calais to re stock our wine supply.
I was concerned about how much I could carry, but no need to worry, as I got in 42 x 3 lt wine boxes plus about
15 bottles of assorted booze & general shopping.
The boot was about 30% full but the weight was the deciding factor.
No problems with handling & ride, averaging 43mpg so well pleased.
