When fitting the new turbo I noticed a couple of things that didn’t seem right to me (although I could write what I know about cars on the back of a matchbox............. in marker pen).
Firstly, the little nut on the actuator rod seems loose, is it supposed to be ? If not , where should it be ?
Secondly, when fitting the new oil feed pipe I noticed that there was very little (if any) clearance between the banjo bolt at the top and the actuator rod top.
FINAL questions on Garret gt1544v turbo (I promise) 😂😂

Have a look at This Video
There is very little wriggle room between actuator arm and oil feed pipe and the joint is a real pain to get to seal correctly
