Have anyone tried these or similar LEDs instead of the cornering light bulb?

No, not those as they weren't available at the time, but I did a manual upgrade - see my post here:

But even though the LEDs I used (the same as the LEDs I used for the DRLs) were CAN bus, I still needed to install resistors as they flashed....
