slug like Xantia 1.9TD

Hi - my 1994 1.9TD Xantia is very very sedate - and no smoke at all on hard acceleration. She's an old girl and has her ailments - but I thought these were supposed to be quite nippy? Also only 33mpg (town)
(Only 73000 miles)
Any ideas? Ta very much![:)]

too heavy...Trade it in for a BX... I did and have never looked back!!

I'd change the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter then give the Xantia an Italian Decoke.
