Well,
Yesterday I changed all 4 injectors on the Citroen Relay.
The problem is that I can code only 2 of 4 injectors (n°1, n°4 ok n°2 and n°3 with the problem).
I started the van, made the auto correction/adjustement of the injectors, set the pump flow revving 2500rpm/3 min with clutch down.
The van runs great, no smoke or errors but I don't know if is correct to use it, if 2 injectors are not coded.
(The injector are renewed, I've bought from Ebay for 360€ / 4 injectors.)
Today I went to the mechanic asking him if he can code with his pc, he said that for him the van is ok and to be don't worry about the coding, because the will be auto-set in the time. Is this right?
For coding I used Diagbox. I've tried with Lexia but same problem.
Should I take of injector n°2 and n°3 ad reinstall the old ones or can I drive with all 4 new but 2 not coded? Can be a problem of injectors or should I ask to another mechanic to code for me?
I'm sorry for the language, I hope all of you can understand.

Hi and welcome. The coding requirement will depend on engine and ECU fitted - some do, some don't, so you will need to post up your VIN code and I can check for you.

Ok, so yes is the answer, they do need coding:
Allocate the injectors to the cylinders, in accordance with the injectors code, using the diagnostic equipment. So you'll probably need Diagbox to do this or somebody with an appropriate diagnostic tool that can do this.
Declutch and accelerate fully at the same time for 3 minutes.
Note: The engine speed is limited to 2500 rpm in clutch anti-centrifugation strategy and the fuel pressure is regulated.
Initialise the high pressure fuel pump also using the diagnostic equipment.
Carry out a road test.
Check the absence of leaks.

Re: Injectors coding problem Citroen Relay/ Jumper 2.2 120cv
That was the procedure that I've done but the program( i think) don't let me to code n°2 and 3 injector.( i can change the number like the other injector but the procedure fail.)
Can be a problem of the injectors or is a problem of the program?
Why Diagbox let me do the injection correction, if 2 injection aren't coded? And it ended sucessfully.
And last but not least why the van runs the same?
Hope someone can help me so i can know how to move.

Well Today I decided to rechange n ° 2 and n ° 3 injector with the older ones.
I found that the problem in the 2 new injectors are in the code.
Reinstalled the old ones i've made the injector learning but failed because the correction values are too hight.
I've reistalled the 2 new an than again injectors correction value are too hight. And now?

So what codes are you entering?
Can you put a picture up of the injector that shows the code please. If these are not entered correctly then it will fail. Not all numbers /characters my be used.

Ok, so these are flipping Ford engines are a right pain.
Your injection system is a VISTEON DCU102 ECU on the Puma 120 and assuming the old injector codes are the right length, then you have the correct codes.
The only thing I would check is are you running the Global Test, then going into the injection ECU, pack repair or repair option - and look at the options - there may be a section for replacement of 4 injectors or just individual ones.
If you are doing this right then I can't see what's wrong - what version of Diagbox are you using?
I've been looking at the Puma 130 engine (PUMA C 96 EURO5 130HP) and that uses a Continental Injection ECU so is completely different - they have a 6 alphanumeric code for each injector:
In Farsi, but easy enough to follow - as you can see a breeze, but just put it up to show how easy it should be!

Re: Injectors coding problem Citroen Relay/ Jumper 2.2 120cv
Well after a lot of tests, at the end I've returned the new injectors and reinstalled the originals.
With diagbox i've seen that the SCV valve works around 260-290 bars at idle. Is this value normal?
I'm not sure about the scv , because the van start but only if you turn the key and hold it on start position for 3-5 sec, you can hear that the engine revs going up and down but if you look at the rpm gauge is always at 800rpm.
