Introduction from WV, USA and requesting input

Introduction from WV, USA and requesting input

Unread post by ccuffWV1 »

Hello fellow car enthusiasts:

I am reaching out to the forum members to ask for help in identifying the car in the attached picture for a friend who recently lost his mother to Alzheimer's Disease. The car was driven in Egypt by my friend's father prior to his ejection from the country because of his religion. My friend thought it might be a Citroen or a Peugeot from the 1940's or 50's but I couldn't match it to anything in that era that I could find Googling so it might be something completely different.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,

That was quick Alasdair - I was expecting Neil to snap that one. Just looks like a generic 'car' to me :(

Don't know about a generic car but it's virtually indistinguishable from the equivalent Simca - which, I must admit, was my immediate response to seeing the piccie.
