Re: Particle clogging
Have you read through these threads:
viewtopic.php?p=629705#p629705
viewtopic.php?p=629704#p629704
While they don't specifically address the C3 the info is applicable.
There are loads of threads dealing with the DPF and blocking, regeneration and Eolys fluid refilling.
A lot depends on how you use your car - lots of short trips don't allow the system to warm up properly, as does being too king to it. They respond reasonably well to being thoroughly warmed up and then an "Italian Tune-Up" - being driven, ideally on a motorway, for twenty minutes in a lower gear - fourth on a five speed box, at around 3,00 revs and with all electrical equipment switched on - loads the alternator that loads the engine increasing the operating temperature, which in turn burns off the collected soot in the DPF and thereby regenerating it.
Welcome to the forum and hope this hasn't scared you too much
