What car? Is it the C4 GP?

Re: Number plate bulb change help please
If it’s the rear number plate bulbs, you don’t access them from the ‘skin’ - all you have to do is lever the holders out. They have lugs on the thin sides of the rectangular holder. The holder can be gently levered out from one side with the plug still attached.
You can see it here:
You can then take the lens cover off and replace the bulb.

Hmm, they don’t appear to be the same bulbs as in your diagram Marc, mine appear to be some kind of led circuit board type set up.
Any ideas ?

Re: Number plate bulb change help please
I've just gone from your VIN ending 467 - so according to the diagram the bulbs are a standard W5W bulb type. I suspect a previous owner has changed these for aftermarket LEDs to make them brighter..... but the fitting is a standard slot W5W bulb that you can buy easily.
Those look decidedly dodgy and are not stock bulbs....

Sorry Marc, I’m not very savvy with these things. Does that board just pull out and reveal the standard bulb holder ?

Yes. it should do - it will be like a wafer wedge type connector - just pull it out - unless the top hat has replaced the entire module. But try and remove it first.

Maybe easier to just replace both units as the securing tabs are a bit knackered anyway. Thanks Marc .
Is there a part number for the full unit ?

Ebay is littered with those silly LED lamps but if you go down the listings you can find the original genuine ones for about £4 each.
