Dashboard lcd fading

Hi please can you help, I have a citroen grand c4 Picasso 2010 the lcd dashboard well just the clock bit with the date on it, it's the centre green bit keeps sometimes fading and then other days it's fine the outside of the green bit with petrol and speed is fine it just seems to be the green bit in the centre with the clock and date on it.
