Citroen c15 throttle pedal

Hi all.New to site.I have a Citroen c15 and need to replace the throttle pedal/accelerator petal.My question: Does it need to be a c15 pedal or can i use another cheaper vehicles one.? New to these boards so please forgive me if i don't reply as this will mean i don't know how to access any responses (navigate) such boards so this maybe peeing in the wind.

As far as I could make out when mine broke, you can't replace just the pedal (at least if it's RHD) & I don't think you'll find a pedal assembly remotely like it - except a Visa one of course. That said, I don't recall a s/h one being that expensive - although finding one is another matter.
