I was curious because so often the code you're given comes up "invalid" & there's the nasty trick CP4L (who I use a lot - or did) pull where you're offered ridiculous discounts - like 30 or 40% by using the code writ large at the top of their website, only to find you've got as far as paying for the order to realise there's never been an opportunity to use the code.
Now Sunday I had a rather better experience: I was shopping for a battery for the C15 (as had just discovered that although it would hold a charge, it now had very little reserve & would be flat after 2 or 3 failed starts) & found that if (& only if) I used their eBay shop I could get 20% off my 1st choice from Tayna using a code. As this meant the highest spec battery was rather less than the going rate for a straight replacement for the one fitted, I went for it. Sure enough, the eBay confirmation showed the discounted price debited to my card - but Tayna's invoice was for the full amount. I took this up with them, gone 4 o' clock, & got a response which I didn't feel really was sufficiently reassuring so fired off another e-mail, immediately before leaving to come back up to London. Got a reply yesterday morning (timed at 8:05) apologising for the confusion & explaining that this was an eBay promotion, meaning I got the 20% discount but Tayna got the full price - because eBay made up the difference! Now that is a new one on me but well pleased with the win win situation, although have had to reassess my view of discount codes.
Must say, never heard of eurocarcare.net (sorry, Marc, must've missed your previous plugs) but made a note for future reference.

I've found ECP one of the main culprits when it comes to codes which either don't work - or you can't use; probably the latter, in light of my CP4L experience.
Bulbs are better bought from a specialist, most of which do some good offers fro time to time.

I usually buy from eBay.
I did, but bought the wrong ones and ECP were the best option at the time.
They and the fan have been fine. Or at least I assume the fan is fine, never heard nor seen it running, as with the previous C5.
This one had a seized fan. The cat has always had a very stable temperature even with the stuck fan.
