Citroen C2 VTS - engine whine?

Hi all,

My main car is a 15 reg Citroen C1 Feel (cheap commuting) but for some fun I have just picked up a very low mileage Citroen C2 VTS is fantastic condition.

The car drives exceptionally well for a 54 reg car. However I have noticed that there is a slight and subtle whine noise from the engine.

Can anyone who has an old C2 confirm or deny whether this sounds normal? I've had small Citroen boxes before that were a little whiny and never had issues with them, so really just wondering.
