Re: Priming and configuring additive pump ?
It's all guided from within Diagbox.
Go into the Replacement Parts Menu (Specific operations for the replacement of parts)
Sub-menu: Replacement of the additive pump.
Follow the instructions.

Re: Priming and configuring additive pump ?
Yes as this operation has to be done when replacing the pump - so that is the procedure for priming.

Re: Priming and configuring additive pump ?
One other thing you may be able to help me with if you don’t mind Marc.
I have heavy carbon deposits in the middle of my turbo and oil coming from the top of the wastegate. Any idea what’s causing this please as I’m getting a strong fuel/exhaust smell in the car.
Thanks.

Re: Priming and configuring additive pump ?
Oh dear....
That sounds like the notorious oil starvation leading to carbon deposits and ultimately turbo failure. It is well-known on the DV6TED4 engine that you have. More frequent oil changes are essential on these engines (circa every 3,000 to 6,000 miles) to keep the oil clean and moving. The fact that you now have carbon in the turbo is indicative that carbon has already started to block the oil channels and has worked its way up to the turbo.
Please have a read of this article that explains it in more depth:

Re: Priming and configuring additive pump ?
Can you post a pic? It's easy not to get the exhaust gas tight on the turbo outlet if it's been off....been there done that, as did the guy that changed the clutch on our C4 Pic!!
