I've just finished a heater flap repair, the shaft had snapped, all finished and back together! Now I find the motor splines won't line up with flap splines! Seems to be about 90 degrees out. The motor only turn a little, not enough to line it up. The shaft has been broken for some months, and it seems somehow the motor has turned out of sink!
What do I do?
C6 heater flap.

First thing I suggest you do is update your profile to the left as you have no car, model or year listed which makes it difficult for people to assist.
I assume this is for your C6, VIN ending in 925?

Re: C6 heater flap.
If it is the air inlet flap reduction motor, were you aware of the correct positioning of the spindle?
You need to ensure that you correctly position the centring groove "b" of the inlet flap reduction motor in the air inlet flap control.

Re: C6 heater flap.
Hi Mark, yes c6. My problem is the flat on heater cog is in about the south west position, as it should be ,but motor corresponding cog flap is north east! Heater flap can only go in one position,so somehow the motor has turned 180!
If I play with control and watch motor it only moves about 20 degrees back and forth, not enough to line up.
