Here you go Tom:

So there are 2 connectors - a 5 pin and a 2 pin.

7800 is the ESP ECU
7130 is the Multiplexed Steering Wheel Angle Sensor
7095 is the Electric Handbrake Assembly
7122 is the Power Steering Electro-Pump assembly.
5 Pin Black Connector - Wires:
9000H: High Intersystem / Can bus (pin 2)
9001H: Low Intersystem / Can bus (pin 1)
CM07A: Engine fuse box + after ignition output (pin 3)

2 Pin Black Connector - Wires:
BF10: Maxi-fuse output service battery positive (pin 1)
MC20C: Earth MC20 (pin 2)

Wow thanks Mark, it does look like it could be the one. Although my 5 way connector has all 5 wires? Can't see them in this diagram.

Also is the F7 fuse rating 10A?

Yes Tom, fuse F7 in the engine fusebox is 10A.

7122 shows 2 connectors - a 2 pin black and a 55 pin black connector - however only 3 wires are used in the 5 pin connector and with the 2 in the 2 pin connector that's your 5 wires. I suspect they possible may have use a single plug (design change).

Unfortunately the colours are non-descript - so could be anything. The earth (MC20C) on pin 2 is yellow and green and BF10 is Black, but the CAN wires should be twisted, but there are no colours given.

I have a picture here of my 5 way connector. The 2 way is separate connector with big cables.

Hmmmm, very odd. I'll have another look to see, but so far the diagram is only showing what I've listed.

It's not uncommon for sub-systems to be omitted when looking at a specific system - so the additional wiring may not be shown until looking at the relevant component. But I have checked against the electronic parking brake, the ESP system and so far have seen none of these showing the power steering ECU in any other diagram. I'll keep looking...

Update: I have found one wire (7112) that (depending on option) goes from the Power steering pressure sensor (7112) to the ESP ECU and also the 7804: ESP accelerometer gyroscope.

One other point of note. There was a modification to the power steering electropump assembly for vehicles prior to build 12165 (28 February 2010) - yours is build 11148 (18 May 2007) so would be affected.

It involved a new plug (for the 2 pin connector) that separates the one moulded plug into 2 internal sections:

It also involved re-routing the harness, removing the alarm unit (if fitted, re attaching the harness and alarm. There was obviously an issue with this plug with the 2 wires being in close proximity for them to design a new moulding.
