I've got the chance to have some 16" alloys from a Peugeot 207 that is being scrapped. I do want them as they have good Michelin tyres on.
My Xantia has mohawk tyres and is basically dangerous in the wet.
I believe the Peugeot wheels are et27 and the Xantia standard wheels et15(?). I test fitted the Peugeot wheels today and they do sit too far in and the rears possibly rub.
So, would 20mm spacers be about right to bring the wheels back out?
I was thinking of these https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 3905130637
20mm spacers ok with Peugeot 207 wheels on Xantia?

20mm spacers will reduce the offset to 7, you will need to make sure that you have enough room on the arches especially at the back 10mm spacers would bring them to near standard fit,
