Cool Box Question

Post by ldare2000 »

Hi All
Just a quick question about the cool box. Does the aircon have to be switched on to cool the cool box? The reason I ask is that I am confused, if the aircon is on the whole car is cool so a drink won't get warm and on a chilli day when the heating is on it would be nice to grab a nice cool drink?

You really need to update your profile <<<<< to the left and add a car, otherwise people won't know what you have.

As I actually read your other thread, I'm assuming this is for your C4 Grand Picasso. It that's the case and you are referring to the cool storage in the centre console or the secondary refrigerated glovebox, then it is documented in the manual page 94 & 95.

Both have a vent cap that can be turned on or off and these are supplied with fresh air linked to the air conditioning system regardless of the cabin temperatures set.

If you don't have a manual, then read this post with a link to obtaining access to the information contained in them:
