c4 blower unit not working

c4 blower unit not working

Hi I'm a newbie to this forum and have limited knowledge about mechanics but love to try. The blower on my 2008 C4 Grand Picasso left hand drive has stopped working. Is the blower on the left hand side or the right. I seem to have an air bag under the steering wheel and do not want to go near it ? When I find the blower, is it hard to remove and replace with a new unit if necessary? These are the numbers on the plate in the engine compartment VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] Thanks in anticipation.
