Hello, new to this forum so I would like to say a big hello to all.
The question I would like to ask is regarding my 2010 3008 2.0 150 hdi oil separator.
I have been having a lot of issues with high emissions during the last mot test and since, new oxygen sensor has been fitted pre cat which has increased my mpg, air intake manifold has been removed and all the oily carbon gunk cleaned out, egr valve has be stripped and cleaned. one thing noticed when the air intake manifold was removed the internal of the turbo intercooler was coated with oil so was the connecting pipes. emissions was checked when all cleaned but nothing had changed still high but when the connecting pipe from the oil separator was removed from the air intake duct ( loads of oil vapour)and hole blocked up in the duct a recheck of emissions were almost 0.
has anybody had any dealings with the oil separator and the connecting pipe which seems to have some sort of valve on the top where it connects into the air intake duct with plug in electrical connector.
hope someone’s wisdom can point me in the right direction.
