Really strange one this.
When accelerating the other day, it revs just died, as if I had switched the engine off, next minute it was fine?
Also today, I noticed that the brake lights are coming on when the clutch pedal is pressed. Could this be a faulty brake pedal switch?
If so, has anyone replaced theirs and is it an easy job/quick fix??
I have also had the ABS warning just lately too when going over potholes or speed humps. Strange.
The warning goes off once engine is restarted and no codes are stored.
Could it all be to do with the brake pedal switch??
Thoughts and opinions appreciated
Thanks in advance. 1.6hdi 2007

Re: Strange one
It may just need the brake switch adjusted, it sounds like its too sensitive. Push it toward the pedal 1 click at a time & check the sensitivity. Failing that then new switch, they are fairly cheap.
