Just had this shoot up on the dash whilst nipping to a mates house. Cruise wasn't engaged at the time. The message disappeared until I tried CC, then it came back, as I expected. The trip was about 8 miles, switched off, 10 minutes later jumped back in and the error had gone, CC worked, all back to normal. I've not had chance to plug Diag in to see if anything is still lurking but the Fault Menu on the MFD is reporting no faults now.
Any ideas, I'm expecting it to come back.

it can be literally anything that causes a hiccup with the engine management - ignore it until it becomes more frequent - it may not be significant enough to generate a code. Pete.
