I often use the "quote" button to reply to posts.
Got a message when trying to replying to a couple of Mickthemaverick's posts just now. Logging out and back in again and not quoting I managed to post a reply....odd never happened before
I have failed to screen print the message but it was something like "the requested post does not exist"
I will try and replicate and get a screen print of it. Didnt do anything odd just used the quote button as I have done hundreds of times.
Regards Neil

Re: post not regcognised
Leave this one with me, it is probably due to an adjustment I made, but I need to investigate.

Re: The requested post does not exist error message
I have reverted the forum to the previous configuration, I obviously missed something subtle. Thanks for the report.

Re: The requested post does not exist error message
This is happening to me. I have tried to answer to a post, and twice I have failed.

Re: The requested post does not exist error message
It should be OK now, I had inadvertently removed a couple of lines of code that turned out to be quite important.Hell Razor5543 wrote: 17 Aug 2019, 12:59 This is happening to me. I have tried to answer to a post, and twice I have failed.

Oops. Sure you weren't hacked by Robert Redford and his "Sneakers" crew (which I am currently watching on DVD)?

Re: The requested post does not exist error message
Just tried to add a photo in the usual way and got a pop-up : HTTP Error...
When I went to 'preview' the post I got the 'Post does not exist' message. This at 8.00pm UK time.
The image would upload to the server i.e. the status bar would go green, but it wouldn't progress to 'place inline' so there's no option to actually place the image.

Re: The requested post does not exist error message
I think that the issue is now resolved again. The solution needed one more line of code to work with replies as well as quotes.
Is picture posting OK now? it seems to work for me

Re: The requested post does not exist error message
Thanks for sorting it out so quickly. Made my "Meltdown" thread quite unnecessary in the end!
