Xantia mot fail. Hydro leak

Hi, would you believe it, car was absolutely fine and went for a mot this afternoon, whilst at the mot station it burst a brake pipe

This is the only thing it failed on .

I have found it is a short piece of pipe from the front left hose into a dividing block. Only 9"s long. Car is a S1 no abs 1.8 sx . Would anybody know what size pipe I need and the fixings and flares at each end ?
