Multimedia for DS5

Has anyone had this problem and if so how was it fixed - the multimedia has an intermittent fault - sometimes everything works - radio, sat nav, reverse cameras, other times it switches on and the radio works for a little bit then everything goes off, couple of seconds later it'll come on again. Had it to the dealership and they say it needs a new head which is £1000+labour, they say its not talking to the system - but if this was the case it wouldnt come on at all. Anyone got any ideas ?

Hi and welcome. I'm assuming this is the RT6 system you have fitted, but pop your VIN up here (it is hidden automatically) and I'll check. If it is it's likely that the internal MicroSD card has become corrupt and needs replacing - I'll confirm once I have your VIN.
