2012 citroen relay

Hi, I'm after some advice about my citroen relay, The heater control panel wont select the windscreen setting, the heater and blower work fine and I can select every other option but the dial wont spin far enough to select the windscreen, Is there any adjustment on the cable? I dont think it's the actual dial as it feels ok but just stops before reaching the final position which is the windscreen. Thanks

These have cable controls and from what I can see, to get to the mechanical cables, the fascia has to come off which is quite involved in order to get anywhere near them:>

I seem to recall that Mandrake (among others) had a similar issue with his silver Xantia (nicknamed Problem Child) in that a cable had become kinked.
