C8 - How to remove seats?
I've tried pulling and pushing and jiggling and praying and cursing but cannot seem to remove the rear two rows of seats from my Citroen C8.
I've Googled and YouTubed it until my carpal tunnel screams and my eyes go fuzzy.
Please can someone help me?

Re: C8 - How to remove seats?
Have you actually looked in the manual (or do you not have one)? That explains how to remove and refit them. If you don't have the handbook, I have part of the relevant section.

In either case here's another guide:
This same applies to all the seats in rows 2 and 3:

Thanks, Marc.
No, I don't have the manual, unfortunately.

Re: C8 - How to remove seats?
Our 807 didn't have strap 5, you just pulled up on the lowest bar after tipping the seat right over.

Re: C8 - How to remove seats?
I managed to get them out, it wasn't easy though. Much blood, sweat and tears - especially the one in the middle which I struggled with for over an hour - during a particularly hot day. After much heaving and cursing, the thing finally popped out. I think the trick is to lift and tilt to the side rather than lifting in a straight line, forward.
Thanks to everyone who was able to help.

Re: C8 - How to remove seats?
I can't get my 3rd row seat to tip forward, one of them does but the other won't, I think the mechanism is broken, any ideas?

Re: C8 - How to remove seats?
I've never had a problem removing the seats. Just make sure you have enough space for them to roll forward when you release the back.
The hard part is getting them back in which is tricky due to their weight. As long as they are aligned correctly, they just click in.

Re: C8 - How to remove seats?
Just to mention that the instructions that Marc has kindly posted refer specifically to the centre middle row seat only.
The release cables have a tendency to cut through the outer cable, effectively shortening their length, thus making their releasing function u/s. If you can get to where the cable goes - not easy at all - then you can manually pull the cable in the hope that will release the seat. Unfortunately that is easier said than done !

Re: C8 - How to remove seats?
I am resurrecting this post as I am a bit stuck.
I am trying to remove the 2 seats in the boot but I cannot make them tilt forward, let alone reach the handle to remove them.
I am wondering if @givemeabreak by any chance can share more of the manual (that I don't have) before I resort to brute force.

Re: C8 - How to remove seats?
Lol, it can drive you crazy if not sure how to do it. Pull the seat fully back first, then use the tab which is situated just above the bum seat on the back rest, pull it up SLOWLY, whilst pulling up, push the headrest towards the bum seat, it'll spring together. Then pull the cable underneath the seat which should now be visible. Don't try using the red plastic tab from behind as they are to brittle after all this time
The Central mid row seat has a different action to remove as it has its own integrated seat belt.
The hardest bit is spinning the driver's seat around to face the back of the car. You must pull the button away from the handbrake so the handbrake lowers but is still engaged before turning the seat.

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.
