Sometimes (but rarely) when i start the car i hear farting soun from front suspension. That is happening for a year or two. I havent paid much attention to it because it happens pretty rarely. Week or two ago xantia started to behave odd. When i park the car and get out of it tre front part isn' leveling. When i return in a few minutes, the front of a car is slightly raised and if i push it behaves normaly, but if i come back in an hour or two and press down the front part again it lovers on normal level. Like it was stuck?! Tonight when i came home i parked the car and put the lever in low position to see what will happen. The front part lowered with resistance and farting sound. The farting sound was not the usual but with more resistance. Like it is stuck but manages to get down with a small strugle.
I was reading about leaking front struts but my car does not lose height (only normal overnight lose about 2-3cm) over night and there isnt any lhm leaks.
What do you think?

Someone once mentioned to me whist diagnosing another problem that the front struts can sometimes stick and make this sound.
This is really only treating the symptoms not the cause but I might suggest you try removing the gaitor and smear the chrome rod with LHM to lubricate it.
If the car (sometimes) drops noticably when you first crank the engine it also could be the accumulator spere is poor.
