I buy and sell quite a lot of stuff on ebay and see some funny auctions that end on values they should never get to. One example is this below. ~£40 new from gfs but sell on ebay for over 60?

shouldnt have posted this. now I cant buy tons and sell them for a profit heh, oh well no time for that anyway, just shocked at the stuff people pay for things. I wonder how much peugeot pay for a set if people are prepared to pay over £60 on ebay

When it comes to auctions alot of people get so into te idea they must win they pay way over the odds for anything. thats why ebay is the home of so many scammers.

This is a phone system that I'm trying to sell, it cost £27082 GBP in 1998 inc installation.
I have been bid £51 for it.

hmm ironic as the pbx in our manufacturing building is playing up more and more, twice tripping out its fuse today although the spec of your one is a bit overkill for what they need. They only have about 10 extensions although it would go nicely in my building as we have isdn30 and about 100 odd lines. Could give them our one although i suspect your reserve is quite high judging by its value and my boss is a total skin flint

lol marty, you could find that sort of stuff in a scrap yard and sell it, people want anything it seems
