Almost ready to take my 2001 bingo 2.0hdi for mot. I’m waiting for a new sidelight to arrive and thought I’d invest in some led bulbs. Do I need Canbus or not ? I don’t think I’ll need it as there’s no sign of any bulb failure system I’ve noticed, but want to be sure before buying a bunch of them. Is the any specific type/style recommended or any will do ?
My camper has six T10 lights + whatever is in the tailight unit running at same time so think it’ll be worth going led.
Canbus or not Canbus ?

Re: Canbus or not Canbus ?
Don’t put LEDs in the rear tail or brake lights! They are not designed for the lens types and will either be too glaring or too dim.
If using these for the side lights (front), use white, and make sure they are CAN bus compatible, or else they will either flash, or they will remain on after the vehicle ignition is switched off, and may cause other issues.

I’m surprised a 2001 bingo needs Canbus, but you know better than me !
