Just a word of warning. I bought a pair of front Monroe spheres from dusty789blue trading as JD motorsport Leatherhead. At £39.30 a little on the cheap side, I expected them to be about 18 months old, but never having tried Monroes I thought I d give them a go. They arrived today. One manufactured 6 years ago.. the other 5 years ago. Needless to say they're on their way back.

Re: Outdated Ebay Spheres
I got a reply from the store saying that the spheres had come direct from monroe. I wonder if they're trying to get rid of old stock through a third party at a cheaper price?

Re: Outdated Ebay Spheres
Quite possibly. Monroe offer a range of products, most well known for their shock absorbers.
At that age, those spheres might be good for regassing, if you could get them for an even further-reduced price.
I wouldn't be fitting them without an actual pressure check.
