What's this blinking led in my Citroen C3 dashboard?

Hi,

I got this light blinking all the time on my Citroen C3. I couldn't find what this means in the user's manual.

I notice that you have the spanner symbol showing next to the mileometer which means that the car thinks a service is due. Could it be a warning about that?

That's the coolant temperature display in segments. Normally, the segments correspond to the following table:

Display of the number of segments in the instrument panel	Engine coolant temperature (°C)
0	From 0°C to 59°C
1	From 60°C to 69°C
2	From 70°C to 77°C
3	From 78°C to 109°C
4	From 110°C to 114°C
5	From 115°C to 118°C

If the engine coolant temperature sensor is damaged, the engine ECU sends an invalid value and the BSI considers that the engine coolant temperature alert is present.
The coolant temperature warning lamp lights up on the instrument panel.

So I would get the coolant temperature sensor checked / replaced as a first start.

Check the coolant level... I would advise to get the engine ECU fault codes read, as it could also be some other condition, such as a fault detected in the cooling fan control or similar.

I'm more concerned that you are doing 56mph with the diesel preheater light and ABS warning light on and taking a picture of your dash.

I was thinking about that, but specifically why you have the flow plug light on and the ABS fault.

You may have other issues going on there to be honest which may or may not be related to your other dash problem.
