Citroen's Latest Concept Car Revealed May 2019
Hmm... note that was shot in a wilderness with no traffic or pedestrians. Don't know how it would fair on the South Circular.
It does look like it's a self-assembly toy you used to get from a packet of Kellogg's Cornflakes in the 70s. I see how the kid had to be a contortionist to swing into the back through the tiny crevice.
No good for a shopping trip and little else I suspect. Doesn't look very sturdy to me either, but not unlike our Dyson. Oh well it is just a concept I suppose....

If you want words, lots and lots of them, to “explain” the concept, straight from the horse’s mouth, try the Citroen media centre’s own analysis

I do like a little ferret to discover where stuff is filmed, but I presume the ‘concept’ isn’t an actual goer so we could be looking at a bit of virtual reality there. The bridge may be unusual enough to find though just to keep me amused

Re: Citroen's Latest Concept Car Revealed May 2019
It comes up short on any substance - the number of times "suspension with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions® and a smart active control system" is repeated on just about every paragraph! We know what the former are, but without any explanation of what 'Smart Active Control' is, just smacks of another load of technobabble.
God, as if Siri, Cortana and Alexa, Alexis or whatever weren't bad enough, having a babbling virtual assistant that wait for it, can now interact with you unprompted...
Where's the off switch?

No, shut up and leave me aloneThe roads are clear shall we go shopping?
That's abject fear as you have taken over the driving. You are looking a bit peaky - shall I open the window so you can get some sun on your skin?
That's the tranquiliser I took to get me through this nightmare journey. You were dozing off, so I've put on a bit Black Sabbath to wake you up
Where's the off switch?

Looks rather grim. Are they trying to out-Tesla Tesla?
They were so much better before!
And it used to be all green fields around here.

Just came up today. Not new but still interesting.
Apologies for the presenter but still better than her male colleagues. Should have been VBH though.

Well one of Citroens recent concepts has made it.
The Citroen Marmite is Happening
Great news for 14 year olds in France, and maybe a bit of quirkyness back to Brand Citroen.

Indeed - true of the majority of presenters. Generally better muted too.

The engine is about as subtle as a male elephant in a state of 'must' with a whole herd of female elephants in heat!!!

Ford V8. It does sound rather rough though, not the usual mellifluous 'burble' one expects.Hell Razor5543 wrote: 02 Mar 2020, 11:10 The engine is about as subtle as a male elephant in a state of 'must' with a whole herd of female elephants in heat!!!

It was designed to be a racing car, where the exhausts tend to be somewhat less refined than on road cars.myglaren wrote: 02 Mar 2020, 12:26Ford V8.
