2003 C5 front bumper inserts

Can these be removed sprayed and reffited without bumper removal? Alan

The bumper inserts can be seen in the first diagram from the inside of the bumper and seem to be just clipped in.

In the second photo, this is the part and again it seems that once they are painted, they should be able to be popped in from the outside. Getting them off with a trim tool will possibly break some of the tabs - but not an issue if you are replacing it anyway.
