TESLA Model S Explained.....

.Found this video of the TESLA Model S, in a few animations covering what makes up the electric car.

With the recent threads on Car Manufacturing and videos of how they are made, the electric vehicle has many fewer component parts than the ICE, lending themselves to cheaper manufacturing costs when production scales up.

Yes you have to get over the US Voiceover but for me at least I found it educational! and it is only 10 minutes after all. Its an AC Induction Motor/an Inverter/a set of batteries/ and a cooling system for the batteries/with the odd little bit on regenerative braking and the diff.
