Hello all , what does the comfort control module do , its in the boot is it just for the rear parking sensors it was just I noticed that it has a symbol on it the same as the Gyrometer and wondered if they are linked

Not sure what you are referring to!
There are several ECUs in the boot area - the Parking Assistance ECU, the BSU Trailer Board (if fitted), the TPMS ECU.....
Do you have a picture or the part number beginning 98 or 96?

That's the parking assistance ECU. Part 6590CV.
It receives all the 4, 8 or 10 ultrasonic sensor inputs (depending on options - rear only, front & Rear, front & rear & gap measurement) and provides the proximity measurement and audio / visual data.
