2003 Citroen C3 1.4 petrol clutch replacement

Hi all, just bought the missus a citroen C3 1.4 petrol and I wanted to know if the clutch is easy to replace or is it best left to a garage ?

Might I suggest that you post up the VIN (it will be obscured by the forum software, but Moderators can still read it) so that a Mod with the right access can look up the procedures for you?

The VIN is usually in several places on the car. On the nearside lower edge on the windscreen there is (in the black area) a window where the VIN should be visible, and another location is on the off side wing shut, where the front wing and the bonnet meet.

The VIN should be visible through the windscreen at the edge somewhere. The screens usually have a black edge with a window showing the VIN.

The previous owner is putting another ticket on it first thing in the morning so will put the vin on once we get it back tomorrow, this was the agreement he had work done then they mot it and we buy it lol.

as far as clutches go this is one of the easier ones, nothing too difficult. The book repair time is under 4 hours.

The chassis number is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].

It really depends on your experience and suitable tools. Its not hugely difficult. This should help you get an idea
