Anyone able to supply a guide to changing the 12V battery? The battery has a black electrical box in tied on in front of it and here are wiring harness going across the front and into a big plugs next to the battery. Looks like all of these will need unplugging and removing to get access to the battery.
Also any advice on what type and were to get one? i.e. Dealership Citroen part or other brands any good? I have heard they are hellish expensive because of the stop start system.

Those will probably be for the additional loom, the unit protector, converter and ultra capacitor for the Stop Start system.
Make sure you follow the battery disconnection and reconnection procedure listed in the Sticky posts of the Diagnostics Section of the Forum.
You will probably need an AGM battery of a specific capacity. Pop your VIN up here if you need specifics.
