Hi
Lately I noticed that occasionally the Xenon directional light is not rising enough and the beam is pointing to close . Most time it is OK. It looks like the problem arise when it is raining. Is it related to to the rear axle load sensor (or anything else) ? Where does this sensor located ?
Thanks

Re: C4 VTS - Xenon rising problem
It could be several issues:
The front or rear height correctors could be seizing: Located here, 3 & 4.
Or it could be the headlamp leveller itself (item 1), or it's possible that somebody could of adjusted the headlamp adjustment screw, putting it a bout out. Best to get it checked by a garage with a beam alignment tool. They can then make any manual adjustments to ensure it is set correctly.

Re: C4 VTS - Xenon rising problem
I would give both height sensors a good clean up and put some lubricating silicone grease oil on the mechanism and let it work in to ensure it is moving freely.
It can only be one of two things if it is randomly occurring - the body height sensors sticking, the leveller itself (which really will either work or not I suspect) - so start with the easy things like lubricating the sensors - especially on the ball and lever joint.

Does it affect both headlamps or just one?

Then likely to be the height sensors sticking if both as it will be extremely rare for both headlamp levellers to go at the same time.
