hi can anyone help,ive got a 94 xantia td the problem is when driving at approx 70mph the temp gauge is only reading between 60 and 70 but the heaters are cold,when going faster the heaters improve but only slightly,the centre airvents let quite warm heat out but the windscreen vents are luke warm,ive changed the stat and flushed the system but to no avail,,,,please help[xx(]

Did you check the function of the thermostat before fitting it? It definately sounds like a thermostat problem to me. Is the radiator getting warm/hot? You may also have a probelm with air pockets in the cooling system. See elsewhere on this site for advoce on bleeding the cooling system.
