Had an (admittedly brief) search but haven't turned up much of a match -
I've had to reinstall XP on the old laptop I use for running Lexia. I installed the Lexia prog with no issues but it seems to need re-activation almost every time I start it.
I close the prog down and then the laptop down properly. Laptop back-up battery appears ok - it retains date & time etc.
Laptop restart and restart Lexia its ok, only when its left a day or two.
Running two main batteries and they seem to hold their charge well, no charge indicator loss when left for a while and they'll run the laptop for several hours too.
It's on old Toshiba Lifebook PIII 1Ghz 256Mb ram if that's any help.
Any thoughts, am I missing something obvious?

Re: Lexia (re) activation
When you installed Diagbox, did you ensure your wireless adapter or LAN network card was switched on and enabled during installation and activation (but made sure that there was no actual internet connection?
In other words it is essential that the network hardware is switched on during Diagbox installation as it uses the hardware ids of the network card for activation. But, you should NOT allow the network card to have a live active connection to the internet. Hardware on, but do not allow it to connect to your router.
Your specifications are below the minimum recommended:
– CPU: Intel/AMD 2 GHz or higher
– RAM: 1 GB of system memory
– Hard Drive: 15 GB of available space

Re: Lexia (re) activation
Hi Marc, sorry for the delay in replying (to your reply). No diagbox installed, just Lexi (v3.47). I've since re-installed os and Lexia, I'll see how it goes this time. Going to start a separate thread for the Lexia error code with a suitable title for any one doing a search search in the future.
